The Capital Area Race Series was started in 2005 by NHTI Cross Country Coaches Perry Seagroves and Tom Walton, with the backing of Northeast Delta Dental.
In 2011, the Northeast Delta Dental contracted Millennium Running to manage the series and provide first class amenities to each of the 7 races.
